Upcoming customer deliveries and new contracts mean that we now need you to act as the bridge between usability and technical possibilities. UX Designer with us:

You will be part of the System & Software department, which consists of software developers, systems engineers, testers, and HMI Designers. The department works cross-functionally in different teams with all three parts of the helicopter platform; the ground station, the helicopter, and the simulator.

Together with other HMI Designers, some of the tasks include:

• Designing user interfaces that are intuitive, well-suited, and effective for the target audience in the target environment.
• Designing user interfaces in hardware and software.
• Validating user interfaces and user experiences together with pilots.
• Creating design specifications for implementation and system work.
• Collaborating with systems engineers and software developers on user interfaces and user experience.
• Ensuring that the user interface complies with regulations and guidelines according to regulations and standards.

• Preparing materials for our technical writers for updating user manuals.

In other words: facilitate and optimize for our operators and make their everyday life easier with your technical and user-friendly solutions!

The role of UX Designer with us is partially combined with systems engineering work (requirements breakdown, design, and testing) or programming in .NET C#, WPF, and Java.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a university degree in cognitive science, information systems analysis, interaction design, or engineering. You have work experience in UX/HMI. Experience in systems engineering or programming is strongly meritorious. Experience working with flying vehicles is a plus but not a requirement.

The position requires proficiency in both English and Swedish, spoken and written.
